Pokemon Crystal - Team

So... I got quite a good response from people about wanting to see one of my teams ^^
(which surprised me mainly because I didn't think people really read descriptions if they were too long... I do but~ >w<)

So I did this quickly his morning~

First off, nicknames.I've been having i real nostalgia trip replaying pokemon crystal X3 I remember it so clearly and other stuff I was doing at the time too... So I named my pokemon after characters from Philip Pullman's His dark Materials (which If you haven't read, go and do it now. O_o)
I know the books have been out for a long time and if you'd like me to explain the names, I will but I don't want to put spoilers on for people who haven't read them~
So... left to right~

Zalif - Donphan
I've never trained a Donphan before and Zalif has actually been really good (focuses mainly on attack and defense) He gets some pretty nice attacks, has become my tank and handles pretty much everything the game throws at him ^^
I designed him kind of tribal/ paladin-ish and quite stocky which is how I see most ground types as being~

Xaphania - Gengar
I've also never trained a ghost type before Xaphania but each type has its charms it seems ^^ She's my main status inflicter and has caught nearly all of my pokemon for me!
Her design is loli-ish and she has chiffon sleeves to emphasize ghostly-ness!

Pan - Meganium
(i do normally choose cyndaquil X3) apparently it's one of the more difficult starters to train especially gen 2. Not very good moves but he actually has quite well rounded stats and levels up the fastest out of my current team.
I had the most trouble making a male meganium gijinka X3
I gave up on making him look masculine completely

Ruta - Lapras
Seriously, who doesn't love lapras. They look so friendly and benevolent ^^ And when I surf on crystal the graphics look right
Surf is my favorite water move so I normally train a water type istead of an HM slave XP
I just used my hypothetical design for my PMD lapras (but instead of a heart shape, PMD lapras has the relic pattern )

Kirjava - Arcanine
This is why I didn't use typhlosion this time... He's better than typhlosion (in my opinion, please don't hate me!)
I also used Zane's redesign (from my pmd3 rebel alliance for him) He reminds me of Snow Villiers although the pokemon itself reminds me of him, you know... bulky and loyal X3

Sophonax - Espeon

My favorite (shhh, don't tell the others XDD)
I favor sp attack and speed and she's so pretty... I love her
Used the design from my old/new account which I terminated~
